WHAT IS THERE..

What a start to a journey. It's been only a few weeks ever since I learned about Luea and Sam's work, and following the resonance I felt on the first encounter, I am finding myself in a group of 12 people diving deeper into the practice of systemic constellations.

I have been feeling drawn to constellations as a way to sense into the dynamics and motions of a particular system, may it be families, organizations or society as a whole, from the moment I first encountered the practice during a youth exchange in 2017. Little did I know back then about the subtle and profound influence and potentiality of the work. With every constellation I joined, either as a witness, representative or co-holder, my curiosity grew.

Let me confess that I felt incredibly nervous when joining our first session on zoom. A new environment, new people, a new practice that already had begun to grow roots in me. Would this be the context where my practice would sprout, blossom even? A few minutes into the session, curiosity took over and I found myself in a soup of learning and experiencing - not just with the head, but with the whole body. After diving into the origins of systemic constellations and touching up on the basic vocabulary of the practice as being used by Collective Transitions, we then invited a felt sense of what systems sensing and constellations are about: In breakouts, we stepped into the roles of each others' highest potential for participating in the training. It is hard to describe in words what it feels like when one's body suddenly receives impulses and information that clearly relate to the role one stepped into, embodying a dynamic in a given system. Images showing up, sounds crystallizing, energy rushing through my ears. The gift of taking a moment and debriefing the information together after derolling and speaking our gratitudes. Returning back to the main room, one could sense how the web of our relating had grown much denser, and how the warmth and intimacy amongst the group had reached a new level. What would be possible for us as a group, practicing together?

A question that only expanded as we started to lean in further into the practice on our second day. I truly appreciate the space to practice and host constellations as a part of the training, jumping happily between the constellation and the meta-level, looking at the dynamics and rolling of the facilitator. A movement between dancefloor and balcony. It became very clear in this second session that we all are eager to spend some moments up there, attentively observing how the process unfolds.

2days into the training, there are several things I can sense and see clearer. Here are some of them:

- Constellations are a practice that bridges levels of abstraction and layers of a system in their patterning.

-It is incredibly valuable to be able to refer to a community using a similar language & learn together

- the facilitator, being one of the roles in the field, receives unique information within the process and holds a relevant role in observing and supporting the unblocking of dynamics that are being considered

- the relevance of a good energetic hygiene for practicing constellations, and the subtle art of finding out what resonates for me these days

- Moving in the field of 'systemic work' for the past decade, I can see even clearer how many of the languages out there are nested mostly, if not only, in the intellectual realm. Finding myself intrigued by the glow of intellectual conversation, I am growing even more aware and fond of how shifts and changes mostly seem to appear in contexts where we consider and include the wisdom of our (collective) bodies, listen to their responses, give them space to explore and unfold new possibilities .

- I'm only at the very beginning of this learning journey, and I'm at the right place! There is so much more to be shared - and it doesn’t have words yet..

.. but a little bit of poetry & space between the lines :)

What is there

What is there to know about

The roots and hyphae

That hold us tightly

Woven into the luminescent fabric

Of our ever-learning

Landing

Gently, Tangentially, Touching

Depths of dynamics

That hold all potential

To live along the rhythms

Of common nature
